Preventive and emergency vaccination against equine rhinopneumonitis
Recommended for use in endemic and at-risk farms
Description A live dry vaccine based on an attenuated equine rhinopneumonitis virus, strain SV/69. It ensures the development of strong and long-lasting immunity after two initial doses and regular annual revaccination.
Target Animals:
Horses
Immunity and Dosage Method of use:injections. Immunity develops within 10–14 days and is strengthened after the second dose.
Pregnant mares: two doses — first at 1–3 months of gestation, and second 3–4 months later.
Other horses and foals: two doses, 3–4 months apart.
Revaccination: annually; for sport horses, at least 2 weeks before travel. Dosage: 2.0 ml subcutaneously; vaccine must be reconstituted before use.
