Preventive and emergency vaccination against rabies
Description An inactivated freeze-dried rabies vaccine produced from the "Shchelkovo-51" strain, inactivated with β-propiolactone. It is intended for both routine and emergency immunization of domestic and farm animals in rabies-endemic or high-risk regions.
Target Animals:
Sheep
Goats
Horses
Pigs
Dogs
Cats
Cattle
Immunity and Dosage Method of use:injections. Immunity develops within 5–7 days. With revaccination, protection may last up to 2 years. Preventive:
Rabies-free areas: a single dose, then once every 2 years.
Endemic areas: two doses 30–50 days apart, then every 2 years.
Emergency use:
Two doses 14 days apart, within 48 hours after possible exposure.
